An Exhibition showing a collaborative work with Marie-Sofie Braune and Henrike Fuhrberg. The exhibition shows artifacts from the past of the fictive country-pop girlgroup „The Sweet-Tea Trio“.

Leaning on works by Lynn Hershman-Leeson the room is filled with old rubberized stage-outfits, ceramic LPs, tourshirts and autograph-cards. In one corner a video plays interviews with people from the personal or professional lives of the 3 women forming the band; all the interviews are improvised and therefore sometimes contradictory or absurd.

The exhibition explores how stardom and personhood can be fabricated (even tricking some people into thinking they were going to see a concert, not an exhibition), how the fake can become real if endowed with enough believe, but also explores the cliches of a particular era in, mostly US-american, pop culture.
